為鼓勵學生培養自主英語學習之習慣，教育部國民及學前教育署委請國立臺灣師範大學「英語線上學習平臺」(Cool English)辦理 113 年度「Cool English 自主學習活動」，邀請全國國中小學生，多加利用 Cool English 平臺線上資源進行自學，提升各方面英語力。
除了 Cool English 的獎勵外，小新國小特別加碼「聖誕學英語獎勵活動」，凡三~六年級學生，於 12 月學習時間達 10 小時皆可獲得小禮物，免抽獎喔!
