一、查溺水事件發生地點以溪、河流、海邊及溝圳為最，其中嘉南大圳、觀夕平台、黃金海岸、漁光島附近海域、野溪及魚塭為本市最容易發生溺水的水域。
二、家長帶領學生前往偏遠溪流畔露營，亦有半夜或大雨後野溪暴漲而產生之憾事，請家長與學生時別留意水域安全與戲水安全知能。
三、請家長務必留意子女假日行蹤，禁止學童單獨或結伴戲水。
