主旨：函轉國立臺灣科學教育館於於 105 年 5 月 5 日至 8 日辦理「自造 X 教育週—手．創自己的世代」活動，鼓勵躍參加。

       近來引起風潮的自造者運動(Maker Movement)號稱為第三次工業革命，具有支援、分享、工具素養、學習、改變、童心、自造、參與、給予等特色，將傳統動手做(DIY ， Doit yourself)進化為社群共創(DIWO ， Do it with others)，正符合十二年國教強調探究與共好之精神。為能將這股風潮導入校園，鼓勵更多的教師及學生，勇於改變、創造，從設計及實作中，享受學習的真樂趣，手創自己的新世代，建請鼓勵所屬師生，增能教師自造理念，鼓勵教師參與相關社群，發展跨領域實作課程，並開放校園內或善用民間之自造者空間(Maker space)共同實踐自造課程。
       教育部為推動自造教育，已協同各大學及技專院校將傳統校園工廠轉型為強調創新實踐、社群共創的 Maker 空間，分別於國立高雄第一科技大學、國立台北科技大學成立自造者基地。另邀集六所師培專長的大學，針對自造者運動（ Maker Movement ）精神如何與校園課程結合，開發新的教案課程，並辦理教師工作坊，提供第一線教師最實質的知能充實。國教署則推出 vMaker 行動計畫，將 FabTruck 巡迴至各校園，並成立十所校園中心，積極提供各級學校師生相關資源。
