一、為培養學生藉由閱讀讀本，找出讀本的核心價值，提出問題，表達不同的思考觀點，激盪對讀本更多的想像，並由學生自發提供有興趣又優質的書單，做為下期選書委員選書與命題的參考，增加學生課外閱讀的機會，讓學生愛上閱讀並樂於廣泛閱讀，打造暑假期間優質的閱讀活動。
二、參加對象：本市公私立高中職、國中、國小學生。
三、徵選內容：
(一)藉由學校規劃推動，學生於暑假期間閱讀讀本（非布可星球之書籍），完成「好書推薦表」。
(二)於「好書推薦表」中，學生分享閱讀心得，並提出自己設計的問題，表達自己觀點。
(三)於 9 月 30 日前，各校繳交優良之「好書推薦表」，供教育局編輯成《布可星球探險家最愛好書》ㄧ書。
四、收件方式、日期及地點：
(一)收件方式：由學校統一收齊寄(送)至本局指定地點。
(二)收件日期：自即日起至 9 月 30 日止，以郵戳為憑。
(三)收件地點：菁寮國小(地址： 731 臺南市後壁區菁寮里 8 鄰菁寮 282 號)教務處收，電話： 6621271 分機 102 ，網路電話： 178010 。
