今年夏天有兩顆太陽系的巨大行星來到適合的觀測時間囉!只要當太陽、地球、木星，三者排成一直線，就是「木星衝」的時候，今年的木星衝發生在 8 月 20 日，此時木星看起來最亮(-2.9 等)，當然也是最好觀測木星的時機。
天文館將於木星衝當日(8 月 20 日)晚間 19:30 至 21:00 ，於本館 youtube 頻道進行直播活動，透過望遠鏡的畫面觀看木星影像，歡迎大家共襄盛舉！
另外在8月 21 日(六)晚間 18:00 至 21:00南瀛天文館現場將有木星衝小講座以及望遠鏡觀測活動，因疫情關係採線上預約報名的方式，現場進行實聯制及容留人數的管控，歡迎大家來天文館看星星吧。
